Support Our Heroes: The Ultimate List of Omaha Veterans Day Events

Nov 3-17 | Virtual Race
Join the 4th annual virtual race to help support veterans! You can pick how far you want to go - from just 1 mile to a super tough 26.2 miles! You can do your race anytime in November, at your own speed – many do it all on Veterans Day to make it extra special. When you sign up, some of the money goes to help veterans who are sick, hurt, or wounded. It's a great way to make a difference in their lives. Anyone can join in, so grab your friends or family and sign up for $18-$20. You'll get a bib and a medal to show off your accomplishment. You can walk, run, or jog wherever you want - on the street, in the park, or even on a treadmill. There are so many ways to take part, so come join the fun this November!
Veterans and their immediate family enjoy complimentary admission all weekend long in observance of Veterans Day. Veterans can also enjoy a FREE hot dog meal at the Soda Fountain both days. The Durham Museum proudly supports our veterans!
Every year, many families put the Old Town Bellevue Veterans Day Parade on their calendars! Support the marchers and express gratitude to veterans for their service to participate in the community celebrations. There is no admission charge to watch the parade, so gather your American flags to wave and choose a good vantage point to cheer on the parade participants.
Veterans Day Salute

Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium is offering free admission to active and retired military members, veterans, and their families on Veterans Day. Nov 14 | Veterans Business Outreach Center
Get ready to celebrate National Veterans Small Business Week from November 11-15!
