Aug 1-4 | Little Italy (10th & William St)

Immerse yourself in the heritage of Italy at the yearly celebration in Omaha’s own Little Italy district, where you can enjoy a mix of cultural experiences, delicious Italian dishes, and captivating musical acts.

Partake in our free watermelon banquet, hop on the watermelon bus for a ride, compete in eating and seed spitting challenges, enter photo contests, and don’t forget to try our famous watermelon slushies.

NATIONAL OYSTER DAY

National Oyster Day is almost here and were getting ready to celebrate with $1 Rappahannock Oysters all day! Whether you’re a seasoned oyster lover or just discovering the wonderful world of these tasty shellfish, National Oyster Day at Plank Provisions is the place to be.

Aug 21 (6-9pm) | Scriptown Brewing Company
Beat the heat at Coneflower Creamerys End-of-Summer Float Fest, crowned #1 on YELP’s prestigious 2023 ranking of top ice cream shops in the country, while savoring Scriptown’s handpicked selection of ice creams and brews to create a delectable twist on classic floats. Non-alcoholic root beer floats are also served for guests under 21 or abstaining from alcohol.
Aug 22-25 | Old Market (15th & Cuming)
Cost: $50-$100pp
What began in 2008 as a modest gathering for designers and fashion lovers in the heart of the Old Market has now evolved into the fourth largest fashion week events in America, and the first to make show participation completely free of charge for designers.
Aug 24 (8am-10:15pm) | Dundee (50th & Underwood)
In honor of the Dundee neighborhood, this family-friendly street festival includes a parade, 5k race, local artisan vendors, literary event, delicious pancake breakfast, food trucks, live music and poetry performances, interactive art demonstrations, and a beer garden.

Explore our range of events and classes including Rise and Bloom, photography evenings, yoga sessions, and a unique night for couples. Be sure to catch the live music and entertainment as well as take home some beautifully crafted sunflower products made locally.
Aug 31-Sept 8 | Vala’s Pumpkin Patch

Treat yourself to our newly pressed apple cider made exclusively from apples harvested on our farm; opt for either sweet or hard cider depending on your age. Join us at the festival where you’ll find acres of sunflowers to explore amidst countless photo-worthy moments as you witness butterflies being released into the wild. Pick your own flowers while munching on special food dishes available only for a short time & don’t forget to sign up for a guided tour showing you how we create hard cider.
