Many neighborhoods and local businesses host safe trick-or-treating events that are perfect for all the little ones. In addition to trick-or-treating, families can also check out the various fall festivals, corn mazes, and hayrack rides happening throughout the month. Whether you're searching for the perfect pumpkin or just want to soak up the autumn atmosphere, October in Omaha has it all. Come spend the night at the Zoo & experience the exhibits after hours! The sleepover includes a picnic dinner and drinks, an evening hike, movie, snacks, "grab-n-go" breakfast, morning hike and free day at the Zoo. Must be 21+ years old. Single campers pay a two-person tent price – and max two-person per tent.

People with disabilities and their families can join a sensory-friendly and accessible trick-or-treating event at the Munroe-Meyer Institute. Costumes are optional and all are welcome to attend.

This weekend at Omaha’s former Union Station is Hallo-weekend! Children 12 and under get in free on Saturday and Sunday, and costumes are encouraged. Enjoy goodie bags, the Haunted Train, Cobweb Caboose, Halloween games, and Dancing Zombies from UNO's The Moving Company. Explore the museum's exhibits, including The Lost World of Dragons.

Join The Durham Museum and various community partners for a Halloween event featuring trick-or-treating, games, and spooky activities. Don't miss the Haunted Train, Cobweb Caboose, and sweet treats at the Soda Fountain. The event will also feature UNO's The Moving Company's Dancing Zombies at 6:45PM. Advanced tickets are recommended.
